Damn it!

September 26, 2008

For no particular reason, I always want to appear as a frustrated soul. The result is no better than the title of this post. Its been a long time since any of my ideas hit the blog. I have been reading a few blogs of late. It seems like many have taken an interest to blog these days. Some posts were hilarious and reminded me of my schooldays. Some took away five minutes of my boring time at their best and contributed to the sales of Aspirin at their worst. Now that I have somewhat started, I should continue. It would be ridiculous if I end it here, right? By the way, thanks to Federer for the former part of the previous statement and Nadal for the last word [:)]

Last month I had been to a village and it was so heavily raining that I can`t think of going out anywhere. I saw a hen venturing out in that rain looking out for specks of grain, I guess. The next image that came to my mind was some of my friends who absolutely detested the jobs they got initially but somewhat reconciled now. The “grain” is so big a temptation. It makes you enter places you despise. I would put a breach to this act of preaching (whole idea was to project the weirdness of my thoughts).

Coming to other things, I have seen many movies recently. The above statement holds true for me anytime. Asta chemma is the one I am going to write about. It is a good movie to watch, though based on a plot that makes little sense. Telugu movies should be on the lines of Astachemma (in the lighter vein treatment). Oh! I made a statement. Now I should support it.

In this way, we can come out of the theater after 2 hours. I have failed to come up with a convenient sitting posture in the theaters till now.

The break time can be stretched out, making it a bit tough on the viewers who are reluctant to shell out 15 rs on a soft drink, which is just 50% more than its MRP

More seriously, it will be a welcome change to have movies like this every now and then.

Another movie I saw recently is Souryam. Quite funny that I liked this movie too, though it is not made to be written in posts. The plus points with these sort of movies is:

You can find the next-to-impossible stunts in the movie to be hilarious and take pride in the fact that you are educated and have learnt Physics. So it makes you realize education is not worthless.

You need not take gals to these sort of movies and as a result, you can return with heavier purses.

You get to know that you are Adults.

You get to have a rare experience of standing in the queue, people jumping over others and after all this, get the last ticket as I found out.

More seriously, the dancers and fighters in the industry get their bread.

Enough of movies! 1 more thing I thought of is the 5 benefits of being a girl.

You can sit in a bus in Hyderabad

You can get an extra movie ticket for your friend.

You can carry the lightest bag in your family.

You need not grow 6-pack to attract the opposite gender.

You can scream and shout over the maid.

Most of this post is written in jest

so put all your doubts to rest

P.S.1. I am too tired to write one now!
